Ez a griffes, h\u00edmzett kab\u00e1t \u00daj-Z\u00e9landra tal\u00e1lt gazd\u00e1ra, m\u00e9gis, amikor meg\u00e9rkeztek r\u00f3la a k\u00e9pek, \u00fagy \u00e9reztem, mintha a ruha visszatal\u00e1lt volna egy \u0151si, elemi t\u00e9rbe. A k\u00e9pek a tenger k\u00f6zel\u00e9ben k\u00e9sz\u00fcltek, m\u00e9gis erdei min\u0151s\u00e9get hordoznak. Olyanok, mintha egy mitikus l\u00e9ny f\u00e9szk\u00e9b\u0151l sz\u00fclettek volna: abb\u00f3l a t\u00e9rb\u0151l, ahol a szimb\u00f3lum nem illusztr\u00e1ci\u00f3, hanem \u00e9l\u0151 jelenl\u00e9t. One of my embroidered griffin coats found its way to New Zealand, and when the images arrived, I felt as though the garment had returned to an ancient, elemental landscape. I was deeply moved by the setting in which these photographs were created: the proximity of the ocean, the salt-filled air, the wild vegetation, and the raw presence of the land all existing together.<\/p>\n

For me, the griffin is primarily a bearer of Fire\u2014a symbol of vigilance, inner strength, guardianship, and transformation. Yet in this place, no single element dominates. Water is ever-present through the nearby sea, keeping everything in constant motion. Earth reveals itself in the ground, the roots, and the weight of the rocks. Air moves freely through the space, shaping both body and textile, while Wood, the living vegetation, binds all these forces into one pulsating, organic system.<\/p>\n

Within this environment, the coat is not an alien object, but a carrier of elemental energies. It feels as though all five elements are present within it\u2014through the material, the rhythm of the embroidery, and the gaze of the griffin itself. The garment becomes a mediator between human and landscape, a reminder that these elemental forces are not separate from us, but coexist within us simultaneously.<\/p>\n

Although the images were taken near the sea, they carry the spirit of the forest. They feel as if they emerged from the nest of a mythical being\u2014a space where symbols are not illustrations, but living presences. Here, the griffin is not decoration, but a guardian. It does not dominate; it observes.<\/p>\n
